Privacy
The short version: your results stay on your phone. There is no account, no server that holds your data, and no analytics in the app. This website counts page views, without cookies.
In the app
Your profile (age, sex, units, body weight if you enter it), your goals and every result are stored in a database on your phone. Nothing is sent to us, because we have no server to send it to.
You can save a backup file at any time and keep it wherever you like. On iPhone, your device’s own iCloud Backup includes the app’s data, under your Apple account, not ours. Exporting your results as CSV is available after unlock.
If you allow it, the app reads VO₂max, heart rate, workouts and flights climbed from Apple Health or Health Connect. It reads only; it never writes to them, and what it reads stays on the phone.
Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. The app uses a purchase service (RevenueCat) to check whether you have unlocked it. That check involves an anonymous purchase identifier, not your results.
Re-test reminders are local notifications scheduled on the phone. There are at most three per quarter.
On this website
The site counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing about you: visitors are told apart by a hash that is discarded daily, and no data is shared with advertisers. No other tracking scripts and no advertising. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent anywhere, not stored, and not put in the address bar. Closing the tab clears it.
The host that serves these pages may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and the page requested) for security and operations.
Deleting your data
Delete the app, or use “Delete all data” in its settings, and your results are gone from the phone. Any backup files you saved are yours to delete. We hold nothing to delete on our side.
